Seven Vikings named to All-Conference teams

Three members of the men's basketball team and four women's players were named to the Midwest Collegiate Conference All-Conference Teams this week.
Corey Viet, senior forward, and Grant Burns, senior point guard, were named to the first team and Greg Schultz, senior guard, was named to the Honorable Mention team. This is the second year in a row these players have been named to their respective teams.
On the women's side, Bailey Schechinger, senior forward, ad Jennifer Jorgensen, freshman guard, earned First Team nods, while Jamie Sickles, senior guard, and Amy Vos, freshman forward, were named to the Honorable Mention Team.
Both teams start National Tournament action Wednesday, March 10, with the men playing in Point Lookout, MO at 8:30 a.m. against Sioux Falls and the women playing in Sioux City against Minot State at noon.
