Resident Hall Association named best in region
University to be recognized in June at national conference

Grand View's Residence Hall Association (RHA) has been named the regional 2010-2011 Building RHA of the Year award.
The RHA board is made up of Amy Amy McNaul, Alicia Krones, Whitney Schlesselman, Katelyn Carlson, Michael Tallman, Jenny Parsons and Megan Croghan, who wrote and submitted a 35 page bid explaining how the universitiy's RHA has grown throughout the year. The bid outlined all the events put on by RHA, along with conferences attended, marketing strategies and techniques, and how student participation at the events has dramatically increased.
"Winning RHA of the Year was a huge accomplishment for us,ยป said Alicia Krones, vice president of RHA. "RHA at Grand View is still a relatively new organization and we are very proud of what has been built so far."
The award was voted on by the Programmer Board members from colleges and universities in the Midwest region. The bid was to be 25 pages long explaining the triumphs and improvements from the school year.
