Newbury: Common sense: something more people should use

Another great quality that comes along with common sense is the ability to think quickly. "But I can already think quickly," you may say. Oh, can you? Are you the one in class who asks the professor when a test is right after they give the date of the test? Are you the one that same professor must read the syllabus out loud for because there's too many words on it for you?

One last thing to look into when deciding if common sense is a route you would like to take is that with it, you have the capabilities to be in public situations and not have people out for your head. Like high school freshmen standing in the middle of the main hall in between classes and people who walk four wide down stairs while you try to go up them. This gives you the ability to look at what you are doing, and stopping it before somebody gets hurt.

Common sense is a fantastic tool in the world of adulthood. Add this to our ability to use cell phones and work the Internet on the first try and we could be great. And as we boldly enter the work force with our confidence growing and our pants getting higher by the year, we can use this type of sense to go far in life.
