Mice have been spotted roaming the hall of the Knudsen dormitory the last couple of weeks.

"I was sitting in my room at my desk when I looked over and there was a mouse running around on my floor," Whitley Schertz, nursing freshman said. "I got up on my chair and started screaming. I didn't know what to do."

Mice have been seen on the first floor of the dorms as well. Many students think that they are getting in through the vents or the cracks in the heaters. Rumors are going around about students catching these mice and trying to throw them out.

Kathi Hinz, education freshman, said, "One of my friends lives on the first floor and they found mice in their shoes and one that came in through their vents is their room."

This has become a big issue for one of the students living in the dorms and her parents. The student said her parents tried to get her out of the housing contract early due to the mice, but Residence Life refused. Now her parents will not even enter her dorm room.

Residence Life claims to know nothing about the situation.
