Vikings make it three straight

The No. 7 Vikings basketball team defeated the Buena Vista Beavers Tuesday night 74-65.
It was a slow start for the Vikings as they didn't score their first basket till four minutes into the game.
Corey Viet, senior forward, led Grand View with 24 points as they were able to get the ball inside in the second half. Viet also finished with six rebonds.
Grant Burns, senior point guard, finished the night with 14 points and 8 assists. While Greg Schulz, senior forward hit had three three-points to finish with 13 points. Defensivly, Matt Banzhaf, senior forward, led the Vikings with 10 rebounds.
Buena Vistia was able to close the gap to five with under two minutes after in the game.
The Vikings next home game is Dec. 2 againist St. Ambrose in the MCC conference opener.
