There are trailblazers taking courses at UCM this fall. A new program offers students with special needs a unique opportunity to move onto campus and pursue a higher education.
The THRIVE Program - which stands for Transformation, Health, Responsibility, Independence, Vocation and Education - gives 12 new students a chance to take courses with other UCM students, learn important job skills that will enable them to compete in the workforce and learn skills to live independently.

The Western Illinois football team got its first win since winning last season's opener with a 45-0 victory over Valparaiso.
